If you guys could let me know what you think my chances are at:
Brown
Cornell
Middlebury
Wash U St. Louis
Northwestern

It would be extremely appreciated.
Thanks Guys

To be completely honest, i think all of those except maybe Wash U is a high reach since you don;t really have anything to stand out from the crowd. But if you can write good essays and have great rec's you will have a much better shot at these schools.

Your ECs are weak and somewhat insignificant. Your GPA is outstanding as is your 1460/1600 SAt I score. None of these schools are a lock for you. Your application essays and teacher recommendations will be important. If you apply ED to Northwestern, your chances are good as Northwestern's popularity has soared in the last two years and its academics are quite demanding. Brown has its own admissions methods that make it tough to predict; they really read and evaluate the entire application. You look good for Cornell & Middlebury, but that is still a tough road to acceptance. WUSTL is an interesting choice for you as you do not seem to be science oriented--which may help your application to this predominately engineering/science/business school. What attracts you to Washington Univ. in St. Louis? What do you plan to study?

Also I have a geniuine interest in community service (Key club, peer advisors, AFS) unlike people who become emts or firefighters just for the apps, so my ECs will work towards distinguishing my character and letting these schools know who I am.

I also have a little bit of legacy and connections at Brown, so my chances probably are slightly higher there than your average applicant.

Wash U is also just an amazing school with a beautiful campus and a skyrocketing reputation.

I have worked for three years at an Architectural Designs business and am very interested in architecture. This, i hope, will give me a slight edge at schools like Cornell with fantastic architecture programs.

I would say you have really good chances, seriously. your scores are in the range, your gpa is very solid, ecs decent. I would say NU-match Cornell-match Wash U-high match Brown-low reach. But these are based on acceptance rate, not necessarily quality of school.

wait is'nt his SAT score a little low? I mean i have about the same SAT also, but i feel like its too low for the colleges i am appyling to (Cornell duke etc)

the main thing is that its a 1460 math verbal. Im getting my writing up second time around (which matters the least) to roughly a 750. Overall I will have about a 2220.
