I dont know anything but I would say you have a shot :D

Haha, I’m also a Hispanic male! Had to share this :P

Anyways, because of your hook, your chances improve significantly, not that they weren’t already good. Your SAT score, unweighted GPA, and class rank are all on par for Brown. As long as you have great essays and decent teacher recommendations, I think you’ve got a great shot at admission, and will probably be accepted (that isn’t 100% definite though!).

Make sure that Brown is your 1st choice though, because if accepted ED, you can’t apply anywhere else and you have to accept the amount of financial aid they give you.

Best of luck!

Woohoo thanks

Yay those projected ap scores were right

Bump 10char

Do you have any idea what you want to study? Because if you do, a really specific and genuine “Why Brown” essay could do it for you.

Your ECs are somewhat lacking, but as a URM applying ED, I’d say you have excellent chances.

Thanks
I’ve been brainstorming for a while and I think I could have an above average “why brown” essay.
Glassesarechic: lacking as in not enough leadership? Cuz I know  I will probably have some sort of position in the science bowl team next year.

Bumpity 10char

1 last bump because I made my commonapp account yesterday!

I would definitely say that you have a chance. You are a URM, your scores are high, and you have decent EC’s. Retake the SAT to get a higher score in math though.

Sometimes I wish I wasn’t a Caucasian male from the Northeast.
