if u post a resume like that after making that comment, it makes me doubt ur resume..

check the guy who took 17 ap's.

holy...crap....
if all that is true, i bow down to your greatness, seriously, prostrate on the floor.

buuuuuuuuuut it does seem a little exaggurated. Personally if I was an adcom i would need to see confirmation in writing of your involvement with those various groups and such. but D A A A A A A A M N.

im pretty sure you have NOTHING to worry about if thats all the truth.

no i didnt make it up. i've seen some pretty crazy resumes on the yale board. they posted the acceptance list. the credentials were impeccable.

i would define ur resume as legitimately crazy.

my test scores are far from perfect though. i always pump myself up and tell myself that i'll study. but it always ends up in a drunken late night cram.

i really hope you wouldnt get into a 5 year program (if one exists in the U.S.) because it seems you just wanna get it over with. Are you sure you want to be a doctor (which is what this program entails)? You seem like a micromanager/lunatic from that resume...are you planning on being a doctor/someting else/lawyer/god knows what? jee...just my input

being a doctor is a good way for me to pursue my interest in humanism, as exemplified in my debate activities and interest in social justice and community activism. i don't mind science, but i view the degree as a means towards something else, namely, a confirmation of self, as in what i do ultimately wont matter in the long run, but if it can matter now to someone who i'm treating then that's all i need. i like doing all the things i put on my list and i will keep at it. besides. i do intend to get an MBA on top of an MD.

medicine is not nearly as ideal as you are portraying it.. there are politics, insurance companies, and litigious patients involved. If you are on a spiritual quest, praciticing medicine is probably not right for you. If you genuinely want to help people but aren't a fan of science, be a social worker or something. And if your goals are purely humanistic, why would you need an MBA on top of your MD anyway?

u ever see doctors without borders? at heart i am a pragmatist. as for the MBA well. gotta learn how to run hospitals. i dont have aspirations to change the world. i just want to see the world as i have spent my entire life traveling. next yr i am departing for basel, switz.

**** hmo's btw.

"(a partial copy and paste from my resume)"

so you're saying you have more??

i took out trivial ****.

god…seeing things like this is really discouraging.

Lawl, thats quite the impressive resume. But see sometimes something can infact be too good. I’m sure you could probably get into any school in the U.S. with that, including the Ivies. BS/MD?..No too sure. This is all My Opinion, keep that in mind as you read. See, your activities are mindblowing, and you’ve accomplished alot, but i noticed something.

Your non-medical activities just completely blow your medical activities out the water. I mean you could be the smartest and most accomplished candidate but does it mean much if you don’t have a passion, beyond trivial comprehension, for medicine. What good does it all mean to the medical schools panel if you don’t have the love and complete indulgence in medicine that brings you the unmatched volumptious alore when ever you see a doctor or his coat? Medicine is not as easy as a lifestyle as many people think it is. I know, with every atom down to the string in my body that i want to be a doctor. If you can say this, show this and actually mean this. I have no doubt that you’ll get in. Haha, can’t wait till its my turn to apply. Good luck to you.
