Chances for Brown, Tufts, etc. WILL CHANCE BACK

I'm curious about what reach colleges people think I could have a chance of getting into. Real, unbiased opinions without knowing me. I'm interested in majoring in International Relations/Economics.

Mostly for these schools, but I'm definitely open to other suggestions:
Brown:
Tufts:
Washington University in St. Louis:
UPenn:
Georgetown:
George Washington University:
American University:
Macalester College:
Claremont Mckenna College:
Pomona College:
Emory University:
UC Berkeley:

Here are my stats:
SAT's:2050 (760M, 650W, 640CR) (I know W and CR are terrible. I'm taking SAT's again this fall)
SAT II: Math II:700 US History:690 Math I:730
High School GPA:3.93 (Unweighted)
Class Rank: 1 of 83 in Vermont, so not quite as impressive

Freshman Year: (4.0 UW) All honors classes that were the most difficult offered

Sophomore Year: (3.94 UW) AP World History along with the rest being honors. A's in ever class. I received a 5 on the AP World History exam

Thanks so much!

Brown, UPenn, Tufts, and Georgetown are going to be reaches…maybe even Emory and Berkeley since you are out of state. Your SAT scores are too low for these schools. You’ll need to improve another 100 points at least.

Alright, thanks. Assuming I can boost my CR and W by about 30 a piece this fall, what would my chances be then?

Also, I have already received a full scholarship to the University of Vermont, so my list is really meant to be high match/ reach schools. Otherwise it wouldn’t be worth it to me to go to other schools

Your numbers aren’t bad, and I believe that your SAT scores will jump. However, your ECs look “typical” to colleges, even if I think otherwise. Emphasize the job part of your app, as jobs are responsibility, physical, timewise and financial.

Here are my guesses, assuming you boot up you SAT by ~150 or so

Brown: Reach
Tufts: Low Reach
Washington University in St. Louis: Low Reach
UPenn: Reach
Georgetown: Low Reach
George Washington University: Match/Low Match?
American University: Match/Low Match
Macalester College: Match
Claremont Mckenna College: Low Match?
Pomona College:Reach
Emory University: Low Reach/Match?
UC Berkeley: Low Reach?

I wish I could be more accurate, but I’m not 100 percent sure on some of these schools.

Good luck with the app process!
Chance me back, maybe?

Brown: Reach
Tufts: Low Reach/Match
WashU St. Louis: Low Reach/Match
UPenn: Reach
Georgetown: Reach
Pomona: Reach

I think that the rest are matches. Make sure that you work hard to make your application really advertise you, because you have the potential to get accepted into most of these places, if not all of them. Best of luck

Thanks so much! I’ll be sure to chance back! More feedback please!

Wow!! You have a really great chance at all of these schools. Your volunteer work is very impressive especially since you we’re able to participate in sports and still maintain other extracurriculars

You have a lot going for you, but it would help if you raise your SAT if you want to get into Georgetown, Brown, etc.

Chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1553452-chance-low-act-excellent-ecs-kid-will-chance-back.html

Yeah, my SAT’s are a problem… more input please! Also any recommendations for other schools?

bump…bump bump

Still looking for feedback…
