Chances for Brown (will chance back)

<p>okay so my GPA for 9th - 11th is 4.0 unweighted and somewhere between 4.7 and 4.8 ish weighted.
im unweighted valedictorian and 4/ 322 for weighted class rank</p>

<p>I will have taken 10 AP classes and about 13 honors classes which is a lot for my school</p>

<p>my SAT scores
CR: 670 Wr: 650 M: 710 (2030 total)
i just took them again and i took the act last month and i hope i got a 2150 or higher
Math 2: 800
Literature: 690</p>

<p>ACT: 31</p>

<p>okay extracurriculars
Appalachian Service Project for 4 year
volunteered at autism walk each year for 4 years
peer mentor at church and started high school youth group
volunteer assistant coach for swim team
swim team (club my high school doesnt have swimming)
dance (mostly irish step dance)
i play piano
im in student government
im secretary of NHS</p>

<p>as far as work experience:
ive been a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor
i do an internship at a pediatricians office</p>

<p>so what are my chances...?</p>

<p>my recommendations are pretty good
and my essay for the common app is good and i just started writing the what don't you know? essay which will hopefully turn out okay.</p>

<p>Based on your stats and scores, I would say its a reach. Your standardiized scores arent the best and your ECs are average. </p>

<p>Well you’ve got solid GPA. That’s a plus. However your SAT’s can be improved. I would just submit your ACT if SAT isn’t >2150.
Your chances are decent. However, don’t take this as criticism b/c i do not like doing this but i think your app lacks focus. IDK don’t trust my views. Wait for other ppl to reply. I don’t want to sound too harsh.</p>

<p>I must say I agree with fresh 101. Brown in a reach but there are many other GREAT schools</p>
