Any other suggestions in NY?
What else to do to increase chances?

My experience with BS/MD programs is that they are aimed at attracting applicants to a college where the best students might not otherwise apply. Competition is far higher, and typically only a few spots are offered.

Due to the small numbers, acceptance chances will vary from year to year. However, the interview will be an important part of your application (if you make it to this stage of the competition).

It would help your application if your SAT/ACT scores were higher. Also, your EC list is short - be sure you are able to describe what you do with your time beyond studying, as well as your summers.
