<p>Hi all! Just wondering my chances for Bucknell and Colgate, and if applying ED would help at either! I love both schools and would be so content at either :)</p>

<p>GPA(weighted): 4.6 (junior) 4.2 (soph) 4.0 (fresh)
ACT: 32 (retaking in fall)
AP Tests: APUSH (4) AP Lang (4) AP World History (4)
Senior courseload: AP Calc, AP Lit, AP gov, AP econ, Honors Anatomy, Basic Design
Volleyball 4 years,
club volleyball 3 years
coached an elementary team 2 years
counseled volleyball camps 3 summers
National Honor Society secretary
California Scholastic Federation secretary
French Honor Society
town's youth summit 2 years
Reflections (literary arts comp) finalist
tutoring at school 2 years
Ronald Reagan Citizen Scholar Institute Diploma Seal (only high school in the country that has this program, based on local govt)
organizing sports equipment drive for elementary schools</p>

<p>essays should be good, recs should be very very good!</p>

<p>I think Bucknell’s a low match- your ACT score is phenomenal and grades definitely fit the bill. Obviously, Colgate’s tougher to get into, but I don’t think it’s impossible. As of now, I’l call it a high match, but if you can break 34 on your ACT, then it’ll become a low match as well.</p>

Colgate: Match/high match</p>

<p>Bucknell - Match/ Low Match, especially if that ACT score goes up slightly
Colgate - Match/ High Match</p>

<p>I feel confident about your chances. I don’t know if applying ED gives you an advantage at either of those schools though, so you’ll have to do some research on that. Good luck!</p>

<p>Applying ED boosts your chances for both colleges I believe so I think whichever you apply ED you most likely will get in. I would be shocked if you didn’t. Good luck!
