SATs: 1260/1600 (I took december SAT's so my scores may go up)</p>

Varsity swim team for four years, lettered in it
Played violin since age of 4, also began playing the viola
Played in youth orchestras, performed in several world premier performances
National Honor Society
Math Club
Church Youth Group
Youth advisory board for my church youth group
Created our youth groups website and maintained it for two years
Math Club
Held a summer job at an amusement park for three years (about 55 hr/wk in the summer)
Held a part time job during the school year for 9-11th grade</p>

<p>I have great recommendations, essays will be good too
I want to major in engineering, but i dont know which type yet</p>

<p>If you took December SATs those scores would have been available for a while now...anyways, basing on what I see here, you seem to have a pretty good shot at these schools, even though your GPA is a tad bit low. Try to play on your violin experience because it is a rather unique aspect about your application.</p>

<p>My December SAT's are in, they didnt do anything to raise my scores, looks like I accidentally left that in.</p>

<p>You're really similar to me...I have a (much) lower GPA and slightly worse EC's, but I have slightly better test scores and the advantage of being from the south. </p>

<p>You're a better applicant, but only slightly. And you have similar schools.</p>

<p>I was considering it, but I didnt know much about the school at the time. Now I kinda wish I did. There are a couple schools I wish I had applied to. Oh well, its too late now.</p>

<p>It would be good to get the SATs up, but you're looking good for all three. In/low match everywhere.</p>
