Chances for Burnett Honors College

I applied to UCF sometime in September and got accepted but I feel like I waited too long to apply to the BHC because I didn't think I would get in. However, I finally applied in early January and I would like to know how much of a chance would I have.

When I applied my GPA did not update yet with the semester grades so as far as BHC knows its a 5.1W but I will send in the updated GPA in a week or two.

In-State Student
Top 2% in my class.
GPA: 5.4 W,( UCF recalculated GPA would be around 4.2 I believe) 3.7 UW
SAT: 1880 CR: 6400 M: 600 W: 640 (I know they are pretty low and hinder my chances)
I've gotten straight A's for the entire semester this year so I'm hoping my GPA can sort of make up for low SAT

170 community service hours (including tutoring, starting a canned food drive and donating to a food bank)
Silver Knight Nominee
NHS member for 2 years (junior, senior)
FBLA member for 4 years and Secretary this year
National Science Honors Society member
National Social Studies Honors Society member

I can also speak Spanish and Russian.
I already sent in a recommendation and am planning to send in another along with my updated GPA.

I have taken AP European History, Psychology, Environmental Science, and Language and Composition. (I passed all with 4s expect Euro which was a 2)

Currently taking:
AP Statistics
AP Government
AP Macroeconomics
AP Literature
AP Human Geography
Human Anatomy and Physiology Honors
Networking 3 Honors

I really think you have a decent shot. The only problem is they really look at your CR+M, more than your total SAT. The rigor of your classes and your GPA … very solid. I just applied 1/11 and got accepted 1/26 with 3.82 UW GPA,4.68 W, 4.3 W UCF GPA, and 1320/1600 and 1900/2400. Good Luck!!!
