<p>I know that the Business school is one of the tougher schools to get into. I was thinking it might just be a better idea to apply to the College of Arts. Would be grateful for any opinions you may have! </p>

<p>My school has honors and accelerated level classes, with accelerated being the more challenging. Ive taken at least 3 accelerated/AP classes every year (out of a total of 5 classes)</p>
<p>ECs: Baseball 9 and 10, track 11, Model Congress, volunteered at summer camps, wrote for the school paper one year, involved with church (altar server, train new altar servers, member of Parish Council, Eucharistic Minister)</p>
<p>I also work around 10-15 hours a week at a local grocery store.</p>

<p>I’d have guessed as much. I know its a reach for me, but there have been kids from my school this year with worse stats than mine who have already been accepted. I loved it when I visited an figured what the hell, I should give it a shot.</p>

Do not apply to arts and sciences with a plan to transfer into business , it is a very difficult transfer into business.Apply to Business if you want to major in Business.</p>
<p>With CR+M sat of 1340 ,I would guess that you will be accepted to Arts and Sciences if you put together an interesting application(Essay,Recs, EC’s , service ,etc).
Business will be a bit of a reach., but give it a shot.</p>
<p>One thing in your favor is Villanova does not weigh the Writing portion of the SAT.Your weakest score component is not a factor.
Submit your SAT, not your ACT , 1340 CR+M =30 ACT.</p>
