nobody is calling you stupid, but you do need to do rudimentary research before asking questions or else, we’ll end up talking around in circles. Like I others have mentioned before, you’re lucky you live in the San Bernardino local service area which is also one of the easiest CSUs to get into. I would say, CSULA has engineering, but it’s a stretch with your stats. Good luck and good bye!

Ok. So, in 2-3 months, since I am in AVID and I have to apply for colleges, If I applied to schools like Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State Fullerton, its a guarantee that they will deny me?

Right now, every single CSU will deny you. You do not have the necessary index score of 2900 (assuming SAT as the test) to be eligible for CSU’s. Get your index score to 2900 and CSUSB will admit you.

Ok. So can you educate me on what a index score is? Like do raise it up, do I raise my GPA, ACT score, SAT score? And also, can I raise it enough for Pomona? Lol Pomona is just the school that I love.

Your GPA is locked in. You will be applying in about two months, right. No further changes to GPA are available. Only improvement in SAT and/or ACT can improve your index.
You really need to read and understand this information yourself. If you can’t understand it, CC is the way for you to go.

Um thanks your deleting my last post, to harsh for you. Anyways you have to chance, sorry, CC is what you should do. You can only take the SAT up to 3 times which means you have 1 Chance left, but you did worse the 2nd time haha. Sorry to be mean but 2.38 GPA??? CSULA is a very high reach for you.

Pomona is never going to happen!

Well, I’ll read it. Even though I want to go to cal poly Pomona to experience freshman year on campus, I guess CC then transfer ia going to be the only way for me to get into a university. Thank you guys. I just wish I didn’t mess up 10th grade.

And Ron, I didn’t delete your post, so idk what you are talking about. And even if I don’t have a chance, I’m still going to apply.

Then your STUPID, sorry but thats the truth, waste of an application fee. They will probabally look at the GPA and just throw your application in the trash.

Really Ron, just get out of my topic with your non stop negativity. Please get a life and stop harassing people over the Internet.

Yeah ill stop, im just trying to tell you the truth.

P.S. Dont forget to post in March, so i know if you got in or not.

No what, nvm Ron. I guess I am stupid for doing a application for it. But I have a meeting with admissions soon and maybe, but probably won’t, change some things.

But can I ask u something? What was your strategy for your SAT and ACT? I noticed in your most recent topic that you did really well.

Yea I know you are. Sorry, I’m a little sensitive sometimes. But yea, I guess I’ll post in match how they reject me lol.

Its ok man haha I dont think I should be making fun of anyone considering my GPA but thats because I just dont to homework, If I did my homework I’d probabally be like 10/771 in my class haha. As far with the SAT and ACT, I never studied for them I just went it and took them. Um but this time around if been doing the Practice Test from the Barons SAT Book and been getting 2100+, I guess that one way. For the ACT I have no idea. Yeah I think if you study your ass of and i mean your ass off you can get into a Low Cal State, if not go to a CC and get nothing but A’s and transfer to like UCR or Pomona.

Ok. Thanks Ron. I’m also thinking that going to CC won’t be such a bad idea also

Yeah and if you are going to an CC, I’d say go to RCC because you have a better chance into getting into UCR if you want to go there after. Well thats what ive heard from other people but lets hope they where right. Haha

Lol. I go to john f Kennedy middle college high school, the school literally tight beside rcc.

Oops, I mean right

Yeah RCC is a good place to go, CC wise.
