Chances for Cali schools?

Hi everyone!
I’m an international student from Spain currently enrolled in the IB Diploma, which gives the hardest classes available at my school.
My stats are:
GPA for 9-11: 3.71 UW/ 4.04 W
10-11: 3.85 UW / 4.36 W
UC GPA: 4.29

SAT: 1330/1600 single sitting
1370/1600 superscored (CR 690 + M 680)

ECs: volleyball player for 7 years (captain and national champion), varsity soccer, film workshop at a prestigious college producing short films, TV producing course, played the piano for 10 years, collabored in an international refugee project and learned 4 languages.

The schools I’m looking at are:

UCLA
UC IRVINE
CHAPMAN
LMU
USC (I know it’s a really high reach)
FSU
SFSU

Thank you!

SFSU: Safety
UCI/Chapman/LMU: Match
UCLA/USC: High Match-Low Reach

SAT score could be a bit higher for a solid chance at USC and UCLA.

FSU? You mean University of San Francisco (USF)? Low Match

@gumbymom I think FSU refers to Cal-State Fresno (Fresno State University), in which case I would say its a safety.

If it is Fresno State, then I agree it is a Safety.

Why are you only applying californian schools?

I’m applying to schools in Florida, Texas and North Carolina but I just wanted to know how I’m doing with these ones @paul2752

I think ca schools does not give good bang for the buck for OOS/Internationals. You’d better off to UNCH if you have the grade.

If you are a national champion in volleyball, I think you should use that for the schools. You should contacted the volleyball coaches at the colleges that have that sport. UCLA might be interested. Spain is known for having exceptional athletes.

You should be talking tot he Volleyball coaches! Stat!
