Well, I would say apply as an undeclared major to Berkeley. Your scores are good, btu your math test scores are going to hurt you if you declared a science-related major.

Chance me!

I’d say UCSanta Cruz is a low match/safety and Cal Poly SLO would be a high or mid match. Everything elso looks okay. I’m surprised you didn’t apply to UCSanDiego (low reach), since you only have one reach school (UCB), and UCIrvine and/or UCSB (match), since UCD is really your only true match school because UCSC is really more like a safety. Good luck!

What is your class rank?
Making that 4% ELC cutoff is really important at the top UCs.

UC Davis - high match
UC Berkeley - high reach
UC Santa Cruz - low match
CSU Sacramento - safety
Cal Poly SLO - match

I never responded back to this on the results. I was so busy during the school year that I must have forgotten about college confidential.
Here’s what turned out:

UC Berkeley - Declined
UC Santa Cruz - Accepted
CSU Sacramento - Accepted
Cal Poly SLO - Declined
UC Davis - Waitlisted, but then Accepted BAMF!

I’m attending UC Davis this year, and am ever surprised that I got in off of the waitlist considering the attitude I got from most people about actually getting in. You know how it’s basically a “Good luck, kid,” type deal.
