Chances for Caltech, MIT, U Michian, and Stanford?

<p>Hey</p>

<p>So I am going to graduate soon. And in 9th grade, I got a B+ in Honors English, B+ in Honors World History, and a B- in AP Computer Science. I got A's on the rest of my classes.</p>

<p>In 10th, 11th, and 12th, I got straight A's while taking the max ap classes and honors classes while taking regular spanish. Therefore, I was wondering what my chances will be for Caltech, MIT, U Michian, and Stanford.</p>

<p>My Weighted GPA: 4.8448
My Unweighted GPA: 3.996</p>

<p>ACT: 35
SAT: 2300</p>

<p>^No. My GPA + scores were marginally higher than yours (though I’ve only taken 5 AP tests and will take 7-8 in May), I had leadership + more ECs, and I got deferred early action from both Caltech and MIT. Obviously I can’t see all of your application, but yeah, from this information, no guarantees. </p>

<p>You are in at UMich, though.</p>

<p>BTW you forgot SAT II and awards, if you have any.</p>

<p>Your APs make you a bit unique, but you should apply to more colleges. You don’t have a guarantee at any of these schools, including U Michigan.</p>

<p>Wow you’ve taken a lot of AP tests. These schools are hard to get into without a hook. Those APs are somewhat a hook but not strong enough to guarantee entrance. Your ACT/SAT and GPA are quite stellar. You have a nice resume but as we all know having a nice resume can only go so far. I hope luck is on your side! Everyone needs it!</p>

<p>Should have a shot at all. If it comforts you, my buddy got in to MIT early with a 4.85 and perfect ACT, decided to not even apply to Princeton after that, and your stats are near his.</p>
