Hi guys... I have gotten rejection letter from MIT and been waitlisted from Caltech, and I almost gave up all hopes, but I may have found a way around... (even though chances are highly unlikely...)

I was thinking of applying to Cambridge in UK... And I must say that my condition is pretty complicated. I am a permanant resident of US... and will have acquired the U.S citizenship by the time of maticulation, but NOT at the time of application (which is sometime in sept.).

I will major in EITHER mathematics OR physics (natural science, in case of Cambridge).

I know they don't look at my GPAs and ECs which can be rather beneficial to me... (I have a solid 4.0 GPA, but rather poor ECs).

As for APs, I have....

5 in Physics C Mech. AND Elect. (so 2 5's)
5 in Physics B
5 in AP Calculus BC (5 in AB sub.)
5 in Chemistry
4 in Statistics (will it hurt me alot?)

AND considering taking Bio this year.
(I guess I have taken pretty much every science course possible?)

As for SAT IIs, I have....

800 in Math II
800 in Physics
790 in Chem.

As for SAT... (so horrible scores... do I really need this??)

620 in CR
790 in Math
640 in WR

MY PRIMARY LANGUAGE IS NOT ENGLISH, BUT I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED U.S HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION.

I will enroll in UMich in Ann Arbor, so that I can have interview in Toronto, which is about 6 hours drive... (this was lucky enough).

So, what are my chances?

Oh, I was awarded rensselaer medal for excellence in science and math, have been in math team for 3 years, have been the league's highest scorer for 2 years.

All of those AP's were self-taught. My school did not offer any of those courses.
