Chances for Carlson?

I'm a junior in high school and I'm wondering what chance I would have at Carlson School of Management. Here are my stats:

G.P.A. in the end of junior year might be a 3.76 W (school doesn't unweight, but it probably would be a 3.65)

28 ACT score (30 in English 29 on Math)

Decent, but not spectacular extra curricular activities (Key Club, 1 year of Speech Team, Track and Field and some leadership roles)

No class rank

In-state (two of my brothers attend, and one of them is in CSE)

Have taken 1 AP class sophomore year, 2 junior year, and will take 2 next year

So what chance do I have at being accepted? Thanks!

Stat-wise, you’re on the low end for acceptance to Carlson. I encourage you to submit your application as early as possible. It would be a good idea to submit an essay explaining your interest in business or recommendations from math/business teachers. Carlson is getting increasingly competitive and GPA/ACT are really important for admissions at Minnesota. It wouldn’t hurt to take the ACT again in September if you believe you can get your score to 30 or higher, because that would help drastically. Definitely work hard on raising your GPA if possible. Good luck!
