I'm going to be a senior this year. I have a 3.7 unweighted GPA (4.33 weighted). I got a 1880 on the SAT and 29 on the ACT. I've taken 3 AP classes and I'm taking 4 more senior year. I have good extracurriculars (National BETA Club, PFLAG, French club, and I volenteer at a child care center). What are my chances at getting into CAS for Early Decision 1?

Bring up that SAT. You want a 2k+ to have a good shot at admittance.

^^ Actually that isn’t true at all. I had an 1860 superscore mind you and I was admitted into CAS ED1. I know people who had 2100+ and were rejected. Trust me, SATs aren’t everything…I was very anxious about my SATs being the determining factor of whether or not I would be admitted but that ended up not being the case at all.
Just make sure your personal essay is well written, your ECs look good, and your course load includes APs which is a plus. You’re on the right track overall.

Submit both SAT and ACT, you should be fine with your 29 ACT.

Thank you guys!

I was also an editor for the school newspaper my junior year and my class rank is 16 out of 400.
