Hello. I plan on applying to Cornell soon with an interest in majoring in Biology with Molecular and Cellular Biology. I'll be considering CAS for this major. Please Chance me, here are my stats:

3.8 gpa unweighted
28 ACT
National Forensics League for Speech and Debate (3 years)
NHS
Won the SilverCord award by getting 400 volunteer hours through working at the hospital, working as a TA in Biology, tutoring middle school students with subjects such as science and working at a local animal shelter.
In the top 10% of my class.
Student Council (2 years)
Junior and Senior Class Cabinet
Been in Track for four years (since middle school)

School background: My school only offers six AP classes, but by the time I graduate, I will have taken at least half of that, MAYBE a fourth one, too. I have tried to take as many honors classes, too, but it's been difficult getting into any advanced class for me. When I was just about to transfer into high school, I tried taking honors english, but my advisor said that can't happen.

However, I had both of my english teachers at the time that say I should do it. I had an A in both English classes, and I got a 109% in average English in 9th grade. Despite my advisor still saying that I could not handle it, my current English teacher signed me into it. In 10th grade, I took honors english, and I recieved an A in the class for a whole year.

Plus, during the first semester of that year, I got an A in World Studies, getting a 100% on the final. My teacher then directed me into honors World Studies for second semester, where I then got an A. I have been taking APUSH and Honors English again this year with good grades, and now my advisor has been sent off to a different school to work at. I will be taking Honors Organic Chemistry, AP Literature, AP Psychology, and maybe AP Chemistry or AP Spanish. The point is, my schedule has not been all honors or all AP classes. I was never given the option to do that yet until senior year, but my grades have always been on a rising curve with more advanced classes added each year. I will be taking four years of math, science and spanish, too.
