At the interview, the admissions officer said that I am exactly what Cate is looking for. They also said that I have an wonderful personality.
I have played Piano for 4 years and Saxophone for 1 year.
I have played Soccer for 4 years and Golf, Baseball, Tennis, and Swimming for 1 year.
In my school I participate in environmental express club, 8th grade dance committee, 8th grade Representative, Play Production, Student Mediator, and Hippocrates Circle ( which is a medical program, where students volunteer at hospitals, work with doctors on patients. I also got to watch a live surgery).
My grades are ok, I have 4 B's , 1 A , and 1 C.
All of my recommendations were outstanding.
But my SSAT scores were horrific.
Verbal: 32%
Math: 8%
Reading: 8%
Total: 10%
But I am still confident in the admissions decision.
I will also try to retake the SSAT.
What are my chances on getting excepted ??

not gonna lie those scores arent that good but u play the piano, sports, saxaphone and very in volved with your school. You deffinately still have a chance just not as good. I also didnt do good on the ssat. I wish you luck. Could you tell me if you think i still have a chance at the schools i am applyign to.

I am applying to phillips exeter, governors academy, and new hampton

I know my scores arent the best, but i play hockey, basbeall, and lacrosse. I am an A and B student never lower than a B. I am applying to Exeter, Governors, and New Hampton. Do you think i still have a chance i have great applications and last year i got the Johns Hopkins award for high MCAS scores. So tell me what you think. I really appreciate it thx.

O yeah My National Percentiles are
Verbal- 74%
Math- 98%
Reading-89%

Everyone has a chance. You did your best and that’s all that counts. Don’t put yourself down for something that you can’t control. Best of luck to both of you guys.

Being realistic, you dont have a chance, a 10% SSAT is going to instantaneously knock you out of the running, it doesn’t matter if you’re a nationally ranked three season athlete with those kinds of scores, sorry

I think you are a solid candidate, EXCEPT ur ssat makes me worry. THese schools are use to having scores arouand and above 70s
