Chances for CC to UC in-state transfer?

Applying to: UCLA, UC Davis, UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine

CC GPA: 3.39

Majors applying to: Psychology for all schools

Alternate majors (if it even matters): CogSci as an alternate for Davis, philosophy as alternate to UCSD UCSC, and UCLA.

IGETC: Completed

Lower-divs: All but one completed for UCSD and UCLA as the class I need doesn’t work with my schedule, 3 not completed for UCSC, but i have the prereqs for philosophy all done, all completed for UCD, the majority not completed from UCI, but from what I read on their website for psych, this doesn’t much matter as it can still be completed in 4 years.

Essays: Pretty solid, talked about my passion for psych and certainty of going to grad school to become a clinical psychologist/social work or academia, experiences I’ve had helping people with their issues, techniques I’ve learned etc.

Work experience: work at a local business related to educational stuff, 18 or so hours a week.

Dean’s list for 2 semesters of college

Was a teacher’s assistant for 4 semesters in high school

Fluent in American Sign Language

In a program where I got a full semester of regular college credits/experience in HS

I know the whole chances for transfer thing is totally up in the air, but anyone with similar stats would be great to hear from.

Why aren’t you using the TAG program? Three of the schools participate and you could have guaranteed admission to the one of your choice

I did submit a TAG, but I did it for a major that I realized I didn’t actually want to do, and because I wanted to change to psych, i had to take the prereq courses for my other schools for psych to have any chance, which renders my TAG useless as i’m not taking the classes that I said I was going to.
