bump

Sorry to say but your chances are low for all of them. I only see you getting into UCLA

Edit: Disregard my use of the word low, more like you’re like the rest which makes it hard still

i really dont know much. My brother goes to columbia and had similar grades but got a 35 ACT. Also he didnt have many EC or awards. But he had an internship similar to urs. I think u have a fantastic chance based on what my brother did. Try to get up that SAT score maybe. But otherwise great job in school…i wish i had ur resume lol

For columbia, my friend got in early decision. His stats were 4.0 GPA and 2300 SAT… comparing against him, i would say a slight reach but definitely not out of reach…sat II math is low as most people score perfect 800s.

my friend is applying to MIT and Stanford, his stats are 4.0 GPA 2270 SAT 800 SAT II math 800 SAT II Physics.
so you’re competing against people like him…

UCLA, can’t comment

Good luck!!

I disagree a bit, many people get into Columbia with your gpa and sats. For all ivy leagues it’s very blind ended though. I’m a resident of California ( I’m guessing you are too by the UCI research and stuff) and that can be a boost for UCLA. Stanford and MIT rely heavily on gpa and test scores. Many applications without amazing gpas are entirely discarded. There is however that 10% that get in being a URM, athlete, or legacy. Best of luck however, I hope you make it in!!

I think you have a very good shot at UCLA…maybe an outside chance at Columbia, especially with your excellent SAT score, but I agree with one of the above posters, your SAT 2 scores a bit on the lower side, especially for Math…but unless your essays are out of the world, you have very low chance at Stanford and MIT

chance me back…and be honest about my chances, as I was about yours…http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1725426-my-last-chance-thread-please-give-your-opinions.html#latest</a></p>

Your SAT/SAT 2 scores are little low (especially math 2). Columbia, Stanford, and MIT are high reaches, but you should apply. UCLA is a target school and you have a good shot. Best of luck.

You have a good shot at UCLA and the others are reaches (though they are for everyone). Your weighted GPA is a bit underwhelming but your scores seem to be within range. Hopefully your essays and EC’s make you stand out! Good luck.

Chance me back?: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1719769-what-are-my-chances.html#latest</a></p>

I think you are almost gauranted acceptance to UCLA! For the other schools I would say it’s a long shot. 15% of SAT II Math IIc score an 800, and Stanford, MIT… are looking for the top 6% applicants. Your ECs might make up for it because they stand out, and if you write a great essay you will have a better chance. Good luck! Chance back?
