I know me posting this will probably annoy some people, but I’m unsure of my chances and it’d be great if I could get some feedback

UW GPA: 3.72
W GPA: 4.20 (somewhere around 15-20% class rank)
ACT: Highest Composite 32, Super score 33
SAT: DNE
APs: APUSH (3), Stats (5) (school didn’t offer many for juniors)
Senior Courseload: AP Micro and Macroeconomics, Religion, Personal Finance, AP Gov, AP Calc AB, Honors English, AP Psych, AP Chem
Volunteering: Solid amount of volunteer service throughout HS, received a silver and gold level presidential service award past two years
Work Experience: Worked at McDonald’s over the summer
Other EC’s: Club baseball for 2 years, CYO basketball all four years, Baseball team manager since junior year
Essays: My reviewers and I believed they were pretty good, but certainly we’re a little biased
Recommendations: I’m sure they were good

Private, Catholic School
White, Male. Not first generation college.
Accepted at Oregon and Clemson
Deferred at Villanova and Tulane

Who cares if they’re annoyed, you’re a kid trying to get into a fantastic school, you’re probably excited and hopeful as you should be! Its wonderful you care so much about your education!

You look good but it’s always so hard to tell. Your school’s historic acceptance rate would be a good indicator. I’m guessing you applied EA since you had your app ready for other schools so you should know in a couple of weeks. Good luck!!

Class of 16: 43 out of 83 accepted
Class of 15: 43 out of 73 accepted
101 applicants this year. I’m guessing they have a quota so they will stay in the mid 40’s in terms of acceptances. Still well above the overall acceptance rate of 26 %
