What are my chances of getting into Choate and Taft?

You look well rounded to me aklove7. I would like to suggest a workbook called A Word a Day and Red Hot Root Words you can buy it at Barnes and Nobles bookstore. Also when you are reading underline the words you do not know and go look them up. Rosetta Stone Latin program may also help boost your verbal.
Did you know that Choate has a summer program?

You don’t need to boost your verbal score. Your scores are high enough for any prep school. Put your time into the rest of your application and in enjoying your classes and EC’s. Good luck!

I suppose you should match your level of difficulty to you level of ambition. Do you plan to take the SAT and go on to college? honoraryamom is correct your scores are good enough for prep school.
