okay sorry its long but feedback would be greatly appreciated.

you need to take other sat subject tests. your math Ic is useless.

i took bio but didnt do very well on it (590)...would an satII like history or spanish be beneficial

OK can we just discuss how much the science act friggin SUX!!! I got a 35 on reading and then got a bad 20 something on science on that test and it lowered my cumulative and I HATE it! AHHHH

Cornell will see all your SATs, including the bio one.

haha, I completely agree. Did you take the June ACT? When I took the April ACT this year, I scored a 36 on the science section (I don't know how... it was a miracle). When I took the ACT again in June, my science dropped to a 28 (I know... an 8 point drop is pretty bad). Although my scores went up in every other section, my composite only went up 1 point.

lol I don't remember months...I just remember science SUCKED on my last 2 exams. The first one was...alright.

good shot if you improve SATs by 100 points and bolster EC's somehow in a unique way. there's no harm in applying. applying to arts/sciences or hotel is the easiest route to cornell.

Yes apply to Hotel because it's "easy" and see what happens. Unless that is what he wants to do and he has the background for it that is a bad thing to do.

Uhm, and arts and sciences has one of the lowest acceptance rates...so I'm not sure how credible that advice is.

<<applying to="" arts="" sciences="" or="" hotel="" is="" the="" easiest="" route="" cornell.="">></applying>

On the contrary, these are two of the most difficult colleges to get admitted, and they are so dissimilar.

Yeah, you have a shot. I don't get why people keep telling everyone their SATs "have to" be a certain (usually high) number; the college guides I read when I was a senior put down "middle 50%" SAT ranges and they almost always dipped under 700. What's the harm in applying, anyway?

O well of course he should apply if he wants to go...I don't think anyone told him not to

"OK can we just discuss how much the science act friggin SUX!!! I got a 35 on reading and then got a bad 20 something on science on that test and it lowered my cumulative and I HATE it! AHHHH"

Science rules, perfect score and only thing that kept my composite respecatable.
