Chances for Class of 2018 (ED1)

Hey all! So I applied ED1 to Grinnell and am wondering if anybody would be willing to look at the stats below and chance me. I know the results are only a little over a week away from being released, but I am getting antsy. Thanks!

Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): National Merit Finalist, Missouri Girl's State Delegate, Duke TIP National Recognition, a lot of school awards

Essay: I am pretty confident about it - I'm a strong writer and I think it expressed my voice well.
Teacher Recommendation: Both should be really fantastic.
Counselor Rec: Will be good, although she does not know me as well as my teachers.
Interview: Visited campus twice and did a senior interview. I thought it went well - I was able to answer everything comfortably and we had a good rapport. My interviewer said that some of the traits I exhibited were very common for Grinnellians. I also sent him a thank-you note afterwards; he sent one to me as well, although I assume they would do that for all interviewees.

Other:
State: Missouri
School Type: Small public
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Female

I applied ED1 to Grinnell as well! I’m sure you’ll get in. Good luck!

I can’t imagine why you would not be admitted, though of course no one can guarantee anything. I hope you love it as much as my son did!

Does anybody know what time the ED decisions come out tomorrow!!! im struggglingg

When I spoke to somebody in admissions they said that they were set to automatically be posted on that “Application Status” page at eight o’ clock tomorrow morning. Thanks for all the encouragement, and good luck to those of you that applied! I’ll let you all know if I am accepted!

@mylife1111, the email I received after submitting my application didn’t list a time, merely the date. A number of my friends applied to other similar schools and received their decisions at 5pm EST. I’m assuming it won’t be at 12am on the dot. Gosh, the waiting is the worst part! Good luck!

Never mind, glad to see that someone else is on top of things! (Also, 8am what time zone?)

I would guess central, since that’s Grinnell’s time zone. Of course I’m still terrified that even though I was told eight, it might end up being later. That would be my luck. (:

I’m in! Good luck to everybody!

I’m in too! I can’t wait to meet you guys! Good luck to everybody as well!

I’m in as well! Congratulations and good luck to everyone!
