Hey guys, I was wondering what my chances are for University of Maryland - College Park. These are my stats:

GPA
Unweighted: 3.0
Weighted: 3.7

SAT [highest ones]:
Reading: 560
Math: 670
Writing: 590

I have an extensive list of extra curriculars, I am in the IB Program and a candidate for the IB Diploma, and I am an International Student.

Any info?

oh and also, i wish to major in engineering

However, I DO live in Maryland. My father works for the Embassy and so we are here on diplomatic status, but I still count as an international student, will that still count as in-state? I've been living in Maryland for about 4-5 years.

I think ur status would still be international student (you should know this more than anyone else since you should put ur status on the application)

ur SAT is slightly below average
ur GPA is very low, unweighted could hurt you. However, ur weighted is 0.7 difference from unweighted, which mean you took lots of heavy classes.

it's gonna be very hard...
