COLLEGES: (Major: Engineering, either chemical or mechanical)
UCB
UCLA
UCSD
USC
Wash University in St. Louis
Standford (big reach probably)
Harvey Mudd
UCSC
UCSB
Columbia (brother graduated from there)

UCB = Reach 30%
UCLA = Reach 35%
Wash University in St. Louis = Reach 25%
Stanford (big reach probably) = Super reach maybe 3%
Harvey Mudd = High match/fair reach 45%
Mid to lower UCs = Match 75%
Columbia (brother graduated from there) = High reach 10%

Whoa, mj93, why would Cal and UCLA be reaches and HMC a high match/fair reach if HMC's SAT's are 250pts higher?

Seems like the are reversed.

I totally agree with rocketDA about Harvey Mudd. I actually think it would be a super reach.

(Sorry, can't comment on the others)

It's okay, rocket, most people around these boards are completely ignorant of the fact that Mudd is probably the most selective LAC in the country. This keeps coming up time and time again, but I guess we should continue to correct the misconception that people like mj93 have.

Yep...Harvey Mudd is super competitive
