Planning to take ACTs this Saturday

I’m thinking of applying to these colleges: John Hopkins (reach), Cornell (reach), University of North Carolina: Chapel Hill, WakeForest Uni, UMCP, UMBC, UMich… what are my chances? Any recommendations for other colleges I should apply to next year?

Where is your home state? UMch LSA would be a low reach to reach. Your current SAT is near the 25th percentile while uwGPA around admission average. It would be a very high match if in state.

My home state is Maryland

I just got a 34 on my ACTs, would that give me a better chance at college admissions?

If you are thinking about Biology, UCSD and Rice University are both good colleges. Also for senior year, do you mean AP calculus BC instead of “CD”? I think your ACT score will help, but not by much.
