Chances for colleges with Chemical Engineering?

Hello! I'm planning on going into the field of chemical engineering and would like to know my chances of getting into Georgia Tech, Penn State, Purdue, UF, UMBC, UMD, and/or Ann Arbor. Also if there are any additional colleges anybody would recommend, that would be greatly appreciated! My information is below:

AP Classes: 10

It would be best if the college(s) are on the common app (I'm already done my common app essay), but I'm sure I could find the time to add another essay or two onto my college-essay list if it'll be worth it... thanks in advance!

You’re missing an often overlooked college (the one I attend). You should consider applying to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Their ChemE program is ranked 3rd in the nation and the college of engineering is relatively easy to get in to if you apply early (however it’s getting more selective every year). The app is through the University but there is no supplemental essay, therefore a lot of weight is put into how you look “on paper”. You should know though that the average act this year was a 32 for that college (the numbers on college data are for the whole university whereas the engineering college is much much more selective than the university as a whole (I’m guessing 25-35% acceptance rate based on 1000 kids in the fresman class with 12,000 apps this year)), so don’t think it’s a super safety school!

Thanks, I’ll definitely look into them! Do you know if they tend to give a decent amount of money or not?

Yes, do consider UMN-TC which has great ChemE program and is more affordable. Nevertheless, your GPA is very low for most schools on your list. Your SAT is low too. You may remove UMich, Penn State, GA Tech, etc from your list.

Thanks, I’ll definitely look into it! I’m not going to remove any of the schools you listed from my list since I’m willing to apply to them and can afford the application fee, but I’m definitely not going to get my hopes up… thanks again!
