chances for columbia college chicago

I'm a transfer student trying to go to Columbia College Chicago.

Here's my academic breakdown:

College GPA: 2.5

ACT: 26 (Cumulative)

E.C.'s and Awards: Judge's Choice Award at Film Festival, 2 Journalism Awards, Eagle Scout, and Founder of a Professional Film Fraternity

Drawbacks: Failed two courses in a rocky first semester, got a D second semester, but have gotten straight B's ever since.

Other: I'm a Latino and part Native American. I also had an internship making videos for a tourism board.

So, what are my chances?

You’ll have a great shot. Columbia has an open admission policy, which means they virtually accept anybody with a HS Diploma/ GED. Even as a transfer student with those stats, you have a great shot.

Hope that helped!
