let me know my chances for the following universities:
Cornell
Columbia
Carnegie Mellon
Washington University at St. Louis

and hey is there anyone who's been accepted to wustl at first go??? everyone i know that applied has been wait listed.

thanks.

Need financial aid?

yeah i guess some of it wouldnt harm so i am going to apply for it. so wht do u think?? got ne chances??

Your stats are way better than mine, but I guess my essay rocked. Make sure you do good on your essays, and you will be fine.

If you apply for FinAid, it actually hurts your chances (unless you are an American citizen residing overseas; you might want to check with your admissions counselor about that, then).

Looks fine for Cornell/Columbia/WUSTL (I live overseas and my less-competitive friends have gotten in). Not sure about WUSTL, but that's about the same tier. I hear they're a bit more picky if your resume is too strong (they worry about you rejecting them!), so if you're looking at WUSTL, maybe look at the forum for it here as well.

Mind you, it's bloody difficult to get in as an international asking for aid. Your resume is good, but not mind-blowing. Good luck, I hope you get into a university of your choice.

probably a no at the ivies, yes at c.m. and wustl, good luck!

CMU offers no aid to intls

hey Tsenguun u an internaitonal??......and if so did u apply for aid?....cuz im pretty sure i can write a good essay so thats not a prob......
