Chances for Columbia ED?

I'm considering applying ED to Columbia and I'd like to know my chances. I want to become a financial engineer so I'm applying as for ORFE or Financial Economics (I'll apply RD if I don't apply ED). If possible, I'd like to know my chances for each major separately.

I finished my senior year in HS and I'm taking a gap year this year. During my gap year, I'll be pursuing two internships, one in economics and one in finance. If you want more details on my plans for the year, I can send them to you by a PM.

Also, I won’t be posting my entire application on this thread. If you would like to chance me, please send me a PM so I can give you the rest of the information.

bump… (10 char)

bump (again)

You are competitive. Don’t forget Princeton’s Econ department will get you where you wish to head. Stay clear of NYU. U Chicago has top enomists who got on the band wagon of degregulation - did not have a clue about the financial collapse, but same as most Ivory Tower economists - and ate crow while Wall St collapsed the world’s ecomomy. UChicago is out of the D.C./NYC direct geographic internship feed, but, like Stanford, are placing many graduates in NYC. Wishing you success. You’ve certainly earned your way to your dreams.

You seem to have a very good shot at Columbia but it would help to know your AP scores. Also you probably know this already but Asians generally have the hardest time getting in of any ethnic group because their are so many highly qualified Asian applicants. Chance me back and best of luck to you!

Hey guys, what are my chances at Columbia? I got a 2250 on the SAT, 790 Math II, 780 Chemistry, I am ranked in the top 2% in my class, I have 300+ hours of quality community service, 3x National Spanish Exam Gold Medalist, started two clubs for international foundations, raised $15,000 by organizing a concert for international organization

I am an Asian male and am trying to write essays that reflect my passion for volunteering.
