Chances for Columbia University?

Hi everyone,

I just found out that Columbia University requires two SAT II subject tests . . . and I never took subject tests. And now that it’s February, there’s no more chances to take the tests. Will Columbia consider my application incomplete and automatically reject me? Or will they somehow miraculously consider my application and make an exception?

I’m very upset about this because I realized I threw away a great opportunity to attend a great college out the window. Should I just give up on this school and withdraw my application? I’m in the process of applying for financial aid, but I’m thinking “why bother if your application isn’t even complete?”

Any help is appreciated!

If I were you I would call the Columbia’s undergraduate admissions to learn about this. They would give the most accurate info.

Did you take the ACT? If you submit your ACT score, you do not have to send in SAT II Subject Tests.

If you only sent in the SAT, then your application will be considered incomplete.
