Chances for competitive colleges

Profile:

SATI:
W 730
M 790
CR 710

AP's:
Sophomore: 1 AP with a grade of 5
Junior year: will take 3 AP's and expect to do very well on them
Senior Year: will take 4-5 AP's

SAT II:
will take 4-5 this year

My 1st language is German and I moved to the US when I was 12.
I am homeschooled through a very recognized and rigorous state funded Virtual School. This is why I have a GPA:
UW GPA: 4.0
W GPA: 4.3
Other stuff:
-I own a very successful internet business
-I have a very strong passion for ballet which I have done since I was 3.
-I have played tennis since I was 6 and I have great recommendations and I attended very competitive tennis camps in the Czeck Republic
- I did a lot of volunteering
- I moved 12 times in my life and this is a very important part of myself. I have had to adjust to new schools and environments all the time.

My college list so far:
U of Maryland
U of Virginia
Yale
Wellesley
Brown
Georgetown
Princeton
Vassar
Williams
Amherst

If anyone wants to add to that or just chance me, I would be very happy about any feedback.

Anyone please!!!

You have a chance anywhere, but there can be no guarantees at schools like HYPS or AWS... (or Brown for that matter)

For top schools you need to notch up the difficulty. 1 AP in soph year is really weak when you have access to so much. I would also try to raise SATs for a Yale to be possible.

She will graduate with 8-9 APs. That is plenty. Most students don't take any APs sophomore year. The SAT scores are high enough not to keep her out of any school. A retake won't hurt, but I doubt it will make a difference between acceptance and rejection. The ECs and other life experiences look great, and the OP sounds like a living/breathing person even from that short post. I am pretty sure she will do just fine.

While you're filling out the college applications, you might also want to complete a Burger King application. At least at Burger King you'll feed others instead of your ego.

Community College is always nice!

If I had a huge ego, I would not need the feedback of others to tell me what colleges I should apply to. Just so you know, I moved from Germany to the US when I was 12 and I really do not have a lot of college experience since in Germany, you don't have to apply to college, you just go to Law School or Med school or any other school right out of "high School". You also don't have to apply, you just get into the school at some point although there might be a waitlist and the schools are still excellent. I just wanted to make sure that I am on the right track and that I am not completely surprised when I did not get into any college I applied to since I did not apply to realistic schools.
Please do not judge me in the future since you obviously do not know me.
To all the people who gave me constructive criticism, thanks.

You are definitely in at most of these schools.. I think the only ones which would really be huge reaches for you are Yale & Princeton.
Good luck!

Kidding about community college. anyone of your intelligence level should know that.

=/

Thanks for the answer, I am just not in a kidding mood right now.
Have a great night.

Judging from your stats, you are likely an intelligent person. Therefore, didn't you think to look at the countless other posts of "what are my chances?" before you posted yours? Since you probably have the same or better stats than other people asking the same question, didn't you reason that you obviously do stand a chance? Also, why didn't you look at the average GPA, etc. of the schools you're applying to?

Sorry, but most of the unhooked accepted at top colleges have taken advanced classes since middle school. Kids do EPGY, CTY and so many on line schools to go beyond what's offered at their schools are go to schools where they can advance fast and will be taking linear algebra and finish AP foreign language soph year.

I did want to add that I started the Online program in 11th grade and before that I did a program that does not offer any AP's. I self studied the one AP I took and therefore one cannot say that I did not take advantage of the oportunities my school offered.
