Ask me if you need clarification for any of the following. Thank you in advance for taking the time to assess my chances.

@foxtroll MIT/Stanford/CalTech - mid/upper reach
UC’s - low reach/near match
Your passion really shows for CSci through EC’s (which are also strong)! Your gender will also help, only thing holding you back as it stands for MIT/CalTech/Stanford is test scores. Best of luck!

CalTech is very GPA and test score centered. Aim for 800 in Math 2. Your current SAT score is right under (or at) their 25th percentile.

for UCs, you seem like you are in tip top shape. Did you get ELC? Regardless, your stats look good enough to get you into one UC on your list (I can’t tell which one, CE and CS admissions are terrible), but maybe try raising your SAT a little.

CE is easier than CS by looking at admission stats at several UCs, in particular UCLA. Berkeley is the only exception because EECS is harder than L&S CS.

You are set with the SAT. Don’t even bother taking the ACT.

UCB: Low Reach
UCLA: High Match
USC/UCSD/SLO/UCD: Match
CMU/Cal Tech/Stanford: Reach
