Chances for Computer Science in Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, UW, Georgia Tech and UCs?

CMU SCS is a really far reach. Cornell might be as well, although I can’t really say since I got rejected. UW direct admit is near impossible unless you’re instate. Otherwise you’ll go into pre sciences. As for Georgia Tech, I would say low reach since you don’t have a lot of STEM awards. If you are not instate for UCs, I would say that you would probably get into UCD, UCSC, UCM, UCR, UCSB, and UCI. If you are instate, then you would have a shot at UCLA, UCB, and UCSD.

I am an international applicant though I am studying in Washington now. What would be a good match school for me?

Also, would it help my chance if I apply for direct admission to engineering college instead of comp sci for UW?

The UC’s will run you at $65K per year. I know you don’t think that cost is an issue, but it is.
You won’t be able to work in the US after you graduate, so how will you get your return on your investment?
