Subject Tests:
Biology E 710
Chemistry 740
Math 1: Took on Oct 6 (should be 760+)

Course Load: I took mostly the hardest classes that my school offers and I am a full IB diploma candidate

Extra Curriculars - I was a member of a few clubs that my school offered and have held a part time job, working 20 hours a week for the last 3 years. I've accumulated over 100 community service hours and spent some time volunteering with the United Way. Participated in a local basketball league not affiliated with the school

I'm looking to major in Chemical Engineering

I’d say they are both reaches for you, you’re SAT is a bit on the low side for Cornell and JHU, I’d say you’d be a lot better off with a 2200+. ACT is better in that respect. Subject tests are decent, but nothing extraordinary. Your ECs are just average, and doesn’t show a lot of leadership or specialization. Try to raise your SAT score or ACT score and write some good essays. If you do, and are dead set on one of these two I’d recommend looking into applying ED/EA.

Did you take/have you taken Physics C and Cal b/c, plus 4 years of a language. Assuming so and given good ACT (agree do not send SAT although it is not that bad) and really good grades (I assume with 99.96 you are at top of class as val or sal), only weakness is EC’s but the 20 hours of work a week partially explains that.

Cornell Eng’g and Hopkins = low match (50 to 66%). Likely admit if use ED on either in my view.
