<p>My advice to you would be the following:</p>
<p>Pick an intended major,and develop your application and interests around it. You've done labwork and stuff, so try emphasizing those interests.</p>
<p>But by this point your application is submitted, correct? Then I guess you can just wait and see. I have no idea if you'll get in or not, your guess is as good as mine.</p>
<p>ajkates: yes in the supp essays I focused on my love of research and my goals of becoming an endocrinologist. I then specifically mentionaed and explained my research and mentioned how another prof at Cornell is doing similiar work. I also sent in a research abstract about my project. </p>
<p>I focused my interest in med by giving explanations of all my vlunteering ecs, their significance, etc. I tried to balance my app with my intense love of research with my current situation.</p>

<p>i got a letter in the mail last wednesday stating that I was ineligible for the heop program due to my parents previosuly high income. I am so scared and worried now. Will not being in heop hurt my chances nw and basically destroy all my chances at Cornell?</p>
<p>call them and tell them of ur current situation. things are pretty much sealed right now u gotta wait unitl the post the decisions.</p>
