GPA: 3.85 UW / 4.00 W (Though school doesn't have UW on transcript)
Rank: Top 8% (out of 250), competitive public High School in NH
AP Classes - 5
Honors - 4
(all honors and AP are only available starting Junior and Senior years)

Also plan on getting a job shortly before the school year ends.

So that said, please classify the following for me (Match, Reach, Low match, etc.)

-Cornell (ED) [CoE]
-Carnegie Mellon University [CIT]
-John Hopkins University
-Tufts University
-University of Michigan
-Boston University
-Northeastern

Oh yes I definetly agree. I'm still a junior so I have time to find other ones I like since most of that list falls into the low-high reach area. Here's how I see it at this point in time

Matches (low to high): Northeastern, BU, Michigan
Reaches (low to high): CMU, Tufts, JHU, Cornell

IMO, retake bio sat 2. It will help improve your portfolio. Also, write a good essay and GET VOLUNTEER HOURS. Some of those schools weigh that heavily.

Green1, can you give a little bit more info about your stats. Do you have any volunteer hours, leadership positions, awards, etc?

With what you have down, I would agree with your current rankings. I don't know too much about Carnegie Mellon or Northeastern, but as for the others:

JHU: high reach
Cornell: reach
Tufts:reach
UM: medium-slightly high match
Boston: just below a medium match
