What do you guys think are my chances (percentage if possible)??? Does it help that I’m from New York even though the Engineering school isn’t land grant??? Thanks guys

it will not help that you are from NY.

How are my chances?

Outstanding academic achievements + good EC. You have a very good chance with ED. Idk about NY but asian doesn’t help though I don’t think that will harm you significantly. You are at a very good position to get in just remember though it is an Ivy League and the most qualified students do get rejected. I am also ED to cornell for computer science we have basically same stats but you have way better EC. Good luck hope you get in.

It could help if you were from an underrepresented state (like Alabama, Montana, Nevada), a native Indian, Hispanic, or African American female…but New York and Asian male are not hooks. That said, your stats are excellent! If you apply ED, I would say your chances are very good, if you apply RD, it’s hard to say. Great essays and letters of recommendation will also play a role. Good luck!
