Honors Physics Teacher: 8.8/10 Would usually talk to him about science stuff after class/he is one of SciOly coaches
AP Chemistry Teacher: 9.5/10 Knows me/admires my character a lot
AP English Teacher: 7.5-8/10 at best idk but he really liked me as a student in his class
Might ask my boss who also went to Cornell for a rec

Essay: Writing about my transformers. Coming along slowly but will be not bad

OTHER
Gender: Male
Race: Asian
Income Bracket: ~200,000
Intended Major: Engineering (Chemical)
Weaknesses: Being Asian Middle Class male in engineering, SAT could be better, No “research internships” or major awards, no real music, not engineer-heavy stats
Hooks: sorry

Will the fact that I don’t have any “research internships” or prestigious summer programs (or any relevant science summer activity at all) hurt me a lot? Thank you!

bump/our class size is actually 368 sorry thanks

Not sure why you felt the need to take so many subject tests but Cornell requires your complete testing history so keep that in mind since you’re planning to retake even more of the tests. I personally wouldn’t twirly about treating anyone them.

You have a decent shot spat Cornell ED. Your grades and test scores are at the high end and your school ECs are pretty good. It’s nice to see that you did what you enjoy in your pursuit of badminton. If your recs are as good or better than you’re expecting and you can get your essays in shape, you may be able to offset not having strong science and math ECs. Good Luck! PM me your essay if you want a another opinion.

^^ Sorry typed on phone. I meant to say that I wouldn’t worry about taking any more tests and that you have a decent shot at getting in.

Thank you
