Hello, so I love both of these schools, but I love Cornell more, hence the ED. I am currently highly interested in and amazed by Cornell's biology program as well as their physics department. I love Cornell!

My High School sends 3-4 kids to Cornell each year, and 1-2 to UChicago. It is quite competitive, with everyone in the top 5% scoring 2200+/33+ (hence not much grade inflation). I have taken the most rigorous curriculum (only core classes, no b.s. ones):

Freshman:
H Geometry A-
H Biology A
H Latin II A-
H English A-
World Cultures A

Sophomore:
H Chemistry A
H Latin III A
H English A-
H Algebra II A
US History A

Junior:
AP Biology A
AP US History A-
H Precalculus A
H Physics A
H English A
H Latin IV A-

Senior:
AP English Literature
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus BC
AP Latin: Vergil

UW GPA: 3.93; W GPA: 4.30 (Honors count as 4.5, AP = 5.0, band and other unleveled courses dragged down my W a bit)

Class Rank: 4/260; Top 5%

Scores:
ACT Composite: 33
E: 35
M: 34
R: 32
S: 30
Will take SAT in October, though I'm satisfied with my ACT (Yes, I could probably bring it higher, but past a certain point I really don't care, and a few little mistakes are all it comes down to, not overall intelligence)
SAT Subject Tests:
Physics: 800
Math II: 800
Biology E: 760
AP Scores:
Biology: 5
US History: 5

ECs:
National Honor Society -- Math Tutor (11-12)
Varsity Tennis (9-12) -- Captain
Varsity Soccer (9-12)
Marching Band (9-12)
Concert Band (9-12)
Jazz Band (9-12)

Teacher Recommendations should be superb.
My Essays will be fine.

Chance Away!
