Chances for Cornell ED

<p>Hey, I am from India, I'll be applying to cornell (ED) in October..so here goes
Intended Major : Computer Science or Computer Engineering</p>

<p>SAT score : 2250+(expected) //( comes out on 30th october)</p>

<p>SAT SUBJECT scores : Math level 2 (760), Physics (790), Chemistry (750)</p>

<p>APs (given)</p>

<p>AP CALCULUS AB : 5
AP PHYSICS MECHANICS C :5
my school does not offer any courses so I had to self study</p>

<p>APs ( going to give next year)
AP PHYSICS B
AP CALCULUS BC
AP CHEMISTRY
AP COMPUTER SCIENCE
AP PHYSICS E AND M</p>

<p>School GPA
does not provide gpa.. top 10%(in 600+ )</p>

<p>ECs;
1 Represented my state in more that 10 cricket tournaments
2 Lots of MUNs, school quizzes etc
3 Selected to VMC ( top 1000 selected from 200000)
4 Taught mathematics to underprivileged girls for 2 years .
5 President of the math club and computer science club at my school
6 Participation in many national level coding competitions</p>

<p>@Rag22304‌ Your EC’s show devotion and interest to your intended major, your course schedule is rigorous (while still maintaining a good average) and, the fact that you did some self studying shows commitment to higher education! I honestly think you will be fine </p>

<p>@Rag22304‌ yes, thats a good score but i dont think you have to worry about one single score like that. In terms of the complete package I dont think you need to be too worried. I know that all of Cornell’s essays require you to show your passion/interest in your intended major- if you do that well in your essay im sure you will get in. </p>
