Major: Cornell applied economics management

Would applying early significantly raise my chances? Also are there any parts of my "stats" that you would suggest improving?

great chances. Good luck! AEM is the hardest program to get into though.

Fyi your writing doesn’t matter for cornell and yes ed increases chances but only if your stars are good nuff, and ur are definitely good enough

I am planning on really loading up my courses (5 APs 1Honors) for next year and at this point it seems inevitable that I will get one or even two more Bs my senior year. This would bring my GPA down to about a 3.8 total and a 3.73 academic. If I was to get deffered early and then considered from RD would this decrease in GPA significantly lower my chances of acceptance? Another question I had, is that a lot of people talk about “fit” when it comes to college and especially when it comes to cornell admissions. I was wondering what type of student would be “fit” for cornell? The reason I would like to know is because I dont want to apply early to a college where I dont exactly match up personality wise. Furthermore, I hear that if you are in deed a match for cornell personality wise you can empasize certain characteristics in your app. which may increase admissions chances. Anyother opnions out there? Thanks in advance!

great chances. I know someone who got into cornel ED this year and he didn’t do as many extracurriculars as you. I’d say you’ve got a good chance. match.

Have you not heard about the 6 suicides in 6 months at cornell?

Yea I heard about that…but im pretty sure my head’s in the right place and that…hopefully suicide isnt exactly a life choice I plan to take eventually. However I would only have to worry about that…if I was to get in. At this point getting in is the major concern I have.

All this suicide talk is bull. Ny friend goes there and he says it’s nothing like people male it out to be.
