Chances for cornell, emory, gatech

<p>I want some opinions on my chances of getting into these schools before I apply.</p>

<p>GPA- 3.42 (unweighted) 3.84 (weighted)
Class Rank- Top 20% (517 students) very competitive class</p>

<p>SAT- 700 Math, 650 Critical Reading, 700 Writing....Will be taking again with a high chance of doing better since these scores were my first time taking it... and also maybe taking ACT
SAT II- Soon taking Math 2 and Chemistry....should be no problem getting 700-800 on both for me</p>

<p>My weakness seems to be my GPA, class rank, and possibly SAT.</p>

<p>Your GPA is sort of low for Cornell. Idk about the other two schools. Overall though you look like a good student and I think a good essay would tip you over the edge and get you accepted.
You look a lot like me as far as EC’s go. And honestly your SAT is fine.</p>

<p>I m afraid your chances at Cornell are very low because of your GPA. Might want to drop that one and focus on another college where you stand a higher chance.</p>

<p>Thanks for the info, my GPA is actually around 3.5-3.6 unweighted…forgot to add something. Yea I realize it still might be too low.</p>

<p>If he brought up that GPA, I think you are good also improve those SATs and it should all be fine…</p>
