<p>I like your choice of college essay; it shows that you are willing to take matters into your own hands and are a responsible human being. That’s something which can be difficult to communicate in a college application. Overall, I’d say that you have a pretty decent application. Clearly, Michigan will be the easiest for you to get into. However, you might prefer Cornell for financial reasons as you mentioned. They are all great schools and really it would arguably come down to personal preference if you were accepted to all three.
