hopefully great recs, and essay

please evaluate my chances ED and what can I do to improve my chances?!

well, your chances are pretty good. cornell is fairly stats-driven so the higher your sat score the better.

640?!?!?! its over......

id say retake that test immediately and try to cover up the 640 with 750+. get a ti89, then its 800 for sure

otherwise, pretty set

is the retake really crucial since they only require 2 SATIIs...or all the going to look at all 3?

I think you're pretty much in..why Cornell ED though? I think you are pretty solid RD cornell anyway, so you might try to apply to the Penn, Duke, Dartmouth, Brown's and then get to choose after getting to visit "Days on campus" events, people often really change preferences these weekends because you learn so much more than on initial visits. I wouldn't limit yourself early on unless you LOVE Cornell. One option as a safety is to apply to Michigan early in the cycle since its rolling, you get in by october then you get to focus on your reaches.

slip ru ever on aim lol?

I hope you get in because our stats are somewhat the same.

3.8 and number 2 though, wow. My old school didn't rank but I was top 2%, and then I transferred to a different school and I'm stuck outside the top 10%.

cornell is ranked higher than Brown, slipper your an idiot...this kid is certainly not a lock for Cornell RD..how can u say that about any ivy league school

I think your math is fine. They only require 2. Personally, I think you're a match for Cornell.
