<p>I applied ED to Cornell CALS, and with the notification less than 14 hours away I must confess that I am really nervous! Can anyone chance me please? These are my details:</p>
<p>Ethnicity: South Asian
Major: Science of Earth Systems
SAT: 2090 (CR - 650, M - 670, W - 770)
SAT II (Not required for CALS) Biology M 720, Chemistry 730
GPA: Our school doesn't calculate GPA, we go by the British IGCSE and A Levels. However, my last grade report (1st term, Class 12) was Biology 95, Chemistry 93, and Maths 80. I was in the top 5% of the class.
AS Level: Biology - A; Chemistry - A; Geography - A; Maths - A
IGCSE: First Language English A<em>; Bengali A; Maths A</em>, Additional Maths A; Physics A<em>, Chemistry A</em>; Biology A<em>; Geography A</em> (highest raw mark in Bangladesh). </p>
<p>Activities: </p>
<p>President of school debate club - member for 5 years. Represented my school in several tournaments, have been part of champions team at least three times. Represented Bangladesh in the South Korean National Schools Debating Championships 2010, and World Schools Debating Championships 2012 (both times selected through competition by the Bangladesh Debating Council).
Soccer - goalkeeper for the school team for 4 years.
Dance - Indian classical dance for 2 years; have been a teaching assistant for six months
Writing - Editorial intern and contributor for a local business magazine for 2 years</p>
