<p>Hey Everyone! I was wondering what your thoughts were on my chances with Cornell's School of Engineering. Any responses on how I can improve myself in the next few months would be much appreciated. </p>

<p>Awesome stats. However last I checked Cornell engineering requires all the students to have at least one year of biology. Besides that you have a good shot, not great because you do not have a hook. </p>
<p>You have a pretty strong application, but your standardized test scores are nothing to write home about. Shoot for 30+ on each section of the ACT (31+ overall) or 700+ on each section of the SAT (2150+ overall), and try to get close to 800 on the Math IIC exam. </p>
<p>I’m studying hard for Math II. Hopefully I did well on the last SAT’s. It says online that the mean score for Cornell on the ACT was a 31…am I mistaken or does the engineering department just have higher standards?</p>
<p>I am also considering Cornell. I think your application seems very good. However, schools like Cornell can afford to turn down great students. I would saw a low reach.</p>
