<p>Okay, I'm sure you know the drill by now:</p>

<p>Name's Nikita (guy's name, not girl's name. never mind the movie >(</p>

<p>Half Russian Half French (french passport.. dont wanna get drafted into the post-Red Army as soon as im 18)</p>

<p>Lived in Moscow till 7, then London until now, now in Switzerland.</p>

<p>Am in 11th grade out of 13 grades (graduation in 13th grade).</p>

<p>Doing the IB. My current subject+grades are as follows:
English:.....A
French:.....A
Geography:A
Biology:.....B or C*
Economics:A or B
Chemistry:.C, probably
Maths:......no idea</p>

<p>(*maybe D.. this is bcoz most of the time I didnt know we had homework due and was surprised to learn we had a test the day of the test.. fixing that now)</p>

<p>Next year I'm planning on taking:
English Higher
French Higher
History Higher
Geography
Ecosystems and Societies
Maths Studies</p>

<p>Well it depends what school in cornell you want to apply to, what your toefl/sat scores are, ecs...</p>

<p>You have a yr and a half left, so you have time, but you should start by planning out what schoool, major...</p>

<p>Also, Cornell probably wont like too many B's. But again you have a B in only that one class. Remember that next year will be most impt in terms of grades. Good luck.</p>

<p>Thanks, I know Cornell is incredibly selective, but hopefully they can see something in me (aside from my grades, which I am bringing up) which would get me in.
I haven't done any SATs or ACTs or PSATs or any of that yet... Planning on doing that in June or something, maybe take a professional prep course.
Anyway I want to pursue studies in law... First though I want to study psychology (could help me for law), history, and some other humanities for my undergrad years.</p>

<p>what exactly are you trying to show them? haha why don't you show US readers for you are turning to US for OUR opinion on your stats. treat us as the adcom and tell us the "something" that you so dearly hope can get you into Cornell</p>

<p>Ok, a hook would be this: 1) I'm not a dumbass (or at least that's what I think- after all I might be a complete retard and not be conscious of it lol)</p>

<p>2) I play rugby, and in a year if I work really hard at it it's possible that I compete at national level! (in Switzerland)</p>

<p>3) I'm taking the IB</p>

<p>4) I'm not doing any sciences for the IB apart from maths (I'm not a science person)</p>

<p>5) My mommy says I'm cool</p>
